Institute of Health Sciences (IHS) Peshawar has officially inaugurated a new state-of-the-art
Clinical Simulation Laboratory, further strengthening its commitment to providing students
with world-class practical training facilities.
The newly established lab is equipped with modern medical simulation equipment, patient
mannequins, diagnostic tools, and clinical procedure training stations. It is designed to
serve students across multiple departments including Nursing, DPT, Pathology, Anesthesia,
and Cardiology — allowing them to practice real-world clinical scenarios in a safe and
supervised environment before entering actual hospital settings.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Managing Director Dr. Fida Muhammad stated that
investing in practical infrastructure is central to IHS's mission of producing competent
and job-ready healthcare graduates. Senior faculty members, department heads, and students
attended the event.
This addition marks a significant milestone in IHS's ongoing efforts to elevate the
standard of allied health sciences education in Peshawar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
