IHS Peshawar offers the following undergraduate programs: BS Nursing, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), BS Dental Technology, BS Radiology, BS Pathology, BS Anesthesia, BS Cardiology, and Pharmacy (Category B). All programs are affiliated with Khyber Medical University (KMU) and recognized by HEC and relevant regulatory bodies.

Yes. Institute of Health Sciences Peshawar is officially affiliated with Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar — one of the leading medical universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. IHS is also registered with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), HERA, and the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.

Applicants must have passed their FSc (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board. Admission is merit-based and follows the criteria set by Khyber Medical University (KMU). Some programs may have additional entry test requirements as per KMU guidelines.

Program durations vary by department. BS Nursing, BS Dental Technology, BS Radiology, BS Pathology, BS Anesthesia, and BS Cardiology are 4-year programs (8 semesters). The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is a 5-year program (10 semesters). Pharmacy (Category B) is a 3-year program (6 semesters).

Yes. Clinical training is an integral part of all programs at IHS Peshawar. Students undergo supervised clinical rotations and practical placements in affiliated hospitals and healthcare centers. This hands-on exposure ensures that graduates are fully prepared to meet the demands of real-world healthcare settings upon graduation.

Yes. Since IHS is affiliated with Khyber Medical University (KMU) and registered with HEC, all degrees awarded are nationally recognized. Graduates are eligible to register with relevant professional councils in Pakistan. Many IHS graduates have also pursued postgraduate studies and professional opportunities internationally.
